One of the most fruitful efforts of EVANGELIZATION 2000 has been the establishment of ACCSE/2000

Association of Coordinators of Catholic Schools of Evangelization

It is unfair to tell people they must evangelize without showing them how! ACCSE/2000 came into being to meet this practical need or the 'how to' of evangelization. It brought together different schools using a variety of methods and training programmes and continues to foster the spread of schools which offer help in Training Evangelizers and Lay Leaders to outreach to:

• Youth • Families • Parishes • Children • Special Ministries • Ad Gentes

WHAT IS ACCSE 2000?
  • A response to Christ's command to His disciples: "Proclaim the good news to all creation" (Mark 16:15)

  • A concrete way to foster the Church's primary and universal mission of Evangelization.

  • A positive answer to the call of the Holy Father, Pope John Paul II, for a "New Evangelization in our times, new in method, new in expression, new in zeal"

  • A willingness to collaborate with Bishops and other Church Leaders in the vital task of training Catholic evangelizers all over the world

  • A means to facilitate and accelerate the development of Schools and Training Programmes dedicated to forming Catholics to evangelize:

    • through mutual support and encouragement
    • through generous sharing of ideas and resources

WHO CAN JOIN ACCSE 2000?

  • Coordinators of groups already engaged in Evangelization efforts who wish to develop their schools or programmes, are willing to share their resources and look forward to networking across the world. click guidelines for detailed information
